The 2017 edition of the Best Awards, which recognise the best food marketing campaigns of the year, revealed the list of winners during the ceremony held on 5 April in the Hotel Eurostars in Madrid. Campofrío received the Best Integrated Award for its ‘Deliciosa calma’ (Delicious calm) campaign for Pavofrío (Momentum Madrid) and Unilever and Lola MullenLowe shared the Best Digital Award for ‘Anillos de compromiso’ (Engagement rings) for Cornetto.
During the ceremony, the winners of the Best Awards Great Agency and Best Awards Great Advertiser were also announced, which this year went to Momentum Madrid and Campofrío respectively, as the two received the highest scores according to the number of awards received.
The winners of the remaining awards chosen by the Jury were announced during the ceremony, which was presented by the comedian Juan Solo and this year there were a total of 65 awards: 15 gold, 23 silver and 27 bronze.
All the advertisements that took part in this edition of the Best Awards 2017 will be exhibited in "The Alimentaria Hub” space at the Alimentaria 2018 International Food, Drinks and Food Service Trade Show, which will be held in Barcelona from 16-18 of April 2018.
The Best Awards are organised by Ediciones y Estudios (IPMARK, DA/Retail, Restauración News) in collaboration with the leading European Alimentaria International Food Trade Fair, which is also one of the most important worldwide.The sixteen previous editions of the awards were held in Barcelona every two years, coinciding with the Alimentaria Fair, however, from now on, with the 2017 edition, which is the first to be held in Madrid, the awards will be held every year and the ceremony venue will alternate between Barcelona and Madrid.
