Four of Campofrío’s campaigns broadcast throughout 2016 have received awards at the 14th edition of the International Business Awards 2017, which recognise the achievements and contributions of companies across the globe and are also known as the Stevie Awards.
Among the prizes awarded during this year’s edition, Campofrío received the highest distinction in the Brand Experience of the Year – Consumer category, for the Pavofrío brand “Message for the future” campaign, which recognises the response of consumers to boosting women’s self-esteem on the International Day of the Girl.
In the Communications PR Campaign of the Year (Media Relations) category, Campofrío was recognised for its management of media during the official inauguration of its new factory in Bureba (Burgos) after the fire that destroyed the old factory in 2014. In this same category, its “Children of Understanding” campaign received the second prize for its media coordination during the launch of the campaign last Christmas.
Lastly, in the Events & Observances category, Campofrío received a silver Stevie for its organisation of the events after the fire with media, employees and institutions and public figures such as King Felipe of Spain or the Spanish President of the Government.
Pilar Larrea, Communications Director at Campofrío Food Group, commented “We are delighted and extremely proud to receive recognition for our campaigns. These awards mean we are going in the right direction and they are going to encourage us to innovate in our initiatives to surprise consumers and our employees through positive emotions and a job well done. The Stevie Awards strengthen the company’s leadership in the sector and we are sure it will continue to go from strength to strength in the future”.
