• Campofrio climbs up 12 positions from last year's ranking and positions itself as the fourth company with the best reputation in the food sector
• MERCO (Corporate Reputation Monitor) is one of the corporate reputation monitor benchmarks in the world, composed of five evaluations, eighteen sources of information and more than 24,000 surveys
This year Campofrio has climbed up 12 positions in the MERCO ranking, from 43 to 31 and, thus, becoming one of the 40 companies with the best reputation in Spain. Furthermore, within the companies of the food industry, the meat sector is in the fourth position.
The XVI Edition of the corporate reputation business monitor, Merco companies and leaders, which has existed since 2000, performed a reputational ranking monitor of the 100 best companies and leaders in Spain. This is obtained by 5 evaluations and 18 sources of information. Merco has counted on the participation of 24.531 individuals surveyed which are managers, experts, citizens, workers and students. In addition, as a new aspect, this year the monitor has included the opinion of the responsible politicians who value the behavior and level of commitment to the country of the leading companies.
