Fernando Valdés will assume a new position as President of the Market Leaders Division and Dirk Jacxsens the presidency of the Market Challengers Division. Ignacio González has been appointed as CEO for Campofrio España replacing Fernando Valdés.
CAMPOFRIO FOOD GROUP, Europe’s leading processed meats company, has announced the realignment of its organization structure by creating two divisions that will aggregate its operations according to commonalities in mission. This new structure is in line with the recently announced strategic investment 3 years plan. This structure will also enhance the Group’s ability to capture the full potential of the knowledge and experience of Campofrio Food Group in the realization of its vision to become one of Europe’s leading food companies.
The Market Leaders Division will be responsible for those operations in countries where Campofrio Food Group is market leader. It will include Campofrio España (Spain), Fiorucci (Italy), Groupe Aoste (France), Imperial (Belgium), Nobre (Portugal), and Stegeman (The Netherlands). Fernando Valdés, former CEO of the Southern Division and Campofrio España will be the president of this new division.
The Market Challengers Division will be responsible for those operations in countries that represent an additional growing potential and therefore more intensive efforts for expansion need to be delivered. This Division will include CFG Americas, CFG Deutschland, and the local organizations of Campofrio Food Group’s in Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Poland, Finland and the Czech Republic, as well as the point of interaction with United Kingdom and Romania markets. Dirk Jacxsens , former CEO of Northern Division, has been appointed as president of this division.
Assuming the leadership of the Spanish operation, Campofrio Food Group announced as well the appointment of Ignacio González to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Campofrio España. Ignacio González brings 20 years of expertise in FMCG and retail industries, both national and international.
