Campofrio Food Group participated in SIAL Paris 2012

SIAL Paris is the largest professional food exhibition in the world

Campofrio Food Group (CFG) participated in SIAL 2012, the largest professional food exhibition in the world, held from the 21st to 25th of October at the Parc des Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte Convention Centre.  CFG chose SIAL 2012 as the venue to present its wide range  of  products under the banner  "genuine European taste"  featuring the authenticity of Fiorucci norcineria from Italy, the delicious Spanish tapas of Campofrio, the sophistication and craftsmanship  of the French products from Aoste and the  traditionally crafted Nobre charcuterie from Portugal.
 
The Campofrio Food Group booth at SIAL 2012  showcased the lively and pleasant atmosphere of a regional marketplace, where you can find the best tasting Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French charcuterie, catering to everyone’s desires and needs, from the traditional to the more modern.   In addition, occupying  a significant exhibit space in the booth, was the new Campofrio Selection range, the international selection of the best artisanal cured products from Campofrio Food Group,  presented for the first time in any exhibition.
 
Professionals that came to visit the stand of Campofrio Food Group sampled these delightful products and  enjoyed the engaging live activities conducted daily in the marketplace such as learning the secrets of slicing Serrano, Parma and Bayonne hams with a Spanish master, preparing delicious recipes and tapas based on the products of Aoste, Campofrio, Nobre and Fiorucci with a French chef and discovering the secrets of accompanying the finest meats of Campofrio Food Group with selected wines from across Europe with a prestigious enologist.
 
SIAL Paris gathers every two years, 6,000 exhibitors from 200 countries. Its 215,000 m² are  a venue to display  global agrifood products and services and an opportunity to illustrate   the global consumer  and market trends and  the most innovative products.  Almost 1,400 accredited journalists come to SIAL to cover the event.
 
The 2012 edition of SIAL  saw an increase of 10% in the number of visitors, reaching an impressive 150,000. For Campofrio Food Group it has been a excellent forum to strengthen its  relations with customers, retailers, partners, suppliers, consumers and also with the media.  In the stand, several  professional meetings were held daily and many new business contacts were created, an important basis for emerging projects in strategic markets worldwide.
